what to know about the hawk walk
About Hawk Walk:
- October 14th, Knapp Forest students will participate in our annual Hawk Walk.
- Classes will parade around a preplanned route around our school. There will be music, activities and the chance to display their awesome school spirit!
- The Hawk Walk is the largest fundraiser of our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Each year, the Hawk Walk supports the majority of our annual PTO budget. The PTO funds are used to sponsor educational enrichment opportunities for all students.
About Donations:
- This year our goal is to raise $32,000!
- Donation envelopes came home with your student last week, please make sure your student returns the envelope before October 14th.
- New this year: you can donate using this link to donate online.
About Parent/Guardian Involvement:
- We're also very excited to welcome parents and guardians back this year to walk with the students. Watch for details from your student's teacher about what time your student will be walking.
