Mission Statement
The mission of the Knapp Forest PTO (Parent/Teacher Organization) is to assist and support further learning and educational opportunities for the Knapp Forest Elementary school through volunteer and financial opportunities.

100% of money raised directly impacts learning through educational supplements, teacher grants, professional development and other learning opportunities outside of the classroom. We believe in strong communities, and link parents to volunteer opportunities at Knapp Forest Elementary to enhance growth in learning. 


Programs
Listed below are programs we have funded in the past. While programming may look different from year to year, we will continue to support the teachers and students in creative ways, and we do our best to meet their needs. 

• Kindergarten: Books and art supplies
• 1st Grade: Just Right books
• 2nd Grade: Brain Pop
• 3rd Grade: Nonfiction reading/writing
• 4th Grade: Zoo Lab
• 5th Grade: IXL
• Other experiences include: symphony, ballet, artist/writer in residence and professional development.
